The Administrative Business Council Foundation provides a basic victim advocacy web-based training program that offers victim assistance service response training. Our Advocate Service Agency provides this training first before you can work with the Administrative Business Council. Our team undergoes ethics at all time. We operate with prompt responses to all concerned communities for those individuals whom have been victimized in there County. This opportunity to acquire the basic skills and knowledge needed to better assist victims of trauma circumstances and victims of crimes. Specific information is also provided to meet the needs of target populations. Victim Assistance Training Online Course provides seven modules for completion of certificate. Once, the amount of training has been reached you will be provided on the job training with the Advocate Service Agency. Victim Advocate Course-training will include:

  • 1. Goals and how to navigate through the online training
  • 2. Basic issues such as ethics and cultural competency that provide the foundation for victim services
  • 3. Characteristics, prevalence and other information about 14 types of crimes
  • 4. Core skills needed by victim service providers, such as establishing rapport, problem solving and crisis intervention
  • 5. Information about specific topics and skills needed to provide services to specific populations
  • 6. Information about and skills needed to collaborate with various types of systems, such as community-based, criminal justice-based faith-based, and reservation-based systems
  • 7. Challenging situations faced by victim service providers ABC PROGRAM & SERVICES (ABC CAMPAIGN)

Administrative Business Council is a non-profit community based organization created to rebuild, reform, and reshape victims, traumatized and disadvantaged individuals into professionals for a more productive life. As part of its mission to assist individuals in attaining a distinguished career that reflects direction, motivation and possibilities in developing prompt assistance toward those seeking to succeed as self-supporting goal orientated professionals, Administrative Business Council is offering victim services, and memberships at no charge.

While the Administrative Business Council is a membership organization, our strategic goal is to provide support and assistance to our constituents as members of our organization. As a member of the Administrative Business Council you will receive a variety of immediate benefits, including: weekly advocate assignments, electronic updates about programs and magazine services, newly published magazines, training materials, promising practices and protocols, policy developments and funding opportunities and unlimited access to every corner of the Administrative Business Council Web site.

That’s just to start. Efforts are already underway to expand member benefits to include: Interactive online resume and profiles of career service professionals; job listings and career development, employment opportunities; cross-disciplinary and peer to peer continuing education, on-line advanced victim service training and nationwide mentoring network.
